First page for the new year. I know this year is very probably going to be rough, to say the least, especially for some people more than others. If it isn’t abundantly clear from the content of this comic, let me just say that I and my work are very sympathetic to people of color and the trials facing them in a dangerously unbalanced, inarguably partial world. The hateful rhetoric that has become tragically normalized in our day to day lives is abhorrent to me. I will do what I am able to provide a safe space for those who need it, and I hope that my work can bring some amount of comfort and joy to the lives of those who need it most, as so many of my favorite works of fiction have done for me. Stay strong, stay healthy, and know that even in the face of adversity, there are many who are with you.
